Mariah Carey proves she’s got a body to match that voice in the upcoming of Interview magazine.
The amply-chested songbird stripped off for a set of snaps by Bruce Weber.
She also provided the publication with a refreshingly candid take on the very public meltdown she suffered in 2001.
She said: “I consider the breakdown a breakthrough - I needed to hit rock bottom, however it happened. I needed to understand the cost of pushing so hard, fighting so hard against the system. You just can’t beat the system when they’re against you and are that strong…. But was I out of control at that moment? Yes. I believe that it happened for a reason.â€

Is she serious? What system? Look, Mariah, this isn’t the matrix. There’s no conspiracy. Just because your label and your management didn’t let you make your shitty movies, wear your ridiculous clothes and release your shitty songs in a manner that suited you doesn’t mean you were being oppressed. You weren’t right to begin with and then you overworked yourself into super-crazy. That’s fine!

She looks horrible in that picture but I love Mariah. She may be a trip but there’s no denying Mariah’s an incredible talent.
Yeah Mariah, I’m sure lying around & going to parties (all while ‘fighting the system’) is really exhausting..Gimme a break! Was she ever actually sexy? If so, I can’t remember. She should appear on Desperate Housewives…she’s looking like one, that’s for sure.

You can’t TRY to be sexy- you either are or you aren’t. She tries too hard, which makes her the latter, IMO.
I don’t like this picture…there is a fine line between sexy and slutty and she crossed it. The guy between her legs puts me off as well….she needs to grow up a bit and stop trying so hard. She has an amazing voice and she really doesn’t need to go down the ’sex sells’ road. She’s one of the few that can actually rely on her talent to sell records. I think she’s got a good attitude toward her breakdown though, I think it needed to happen in order for her to rethink her lifestyle and start over.

I guess if you call high pitched screaming a talent or consider it singing then I guess Mariah is great. But why does she have to look like a trampy porn star to sell her music. If she’s that good then we wouldn’t need to see her at all. She’s just gross. She needs to act her age.

I just want t o say the obligatory Mariah is an undeniable talent, I love her songs and her “emancipation..” album was FIYAH!!
but what bothers me about her besides her obsession with the butterflies and the fact that she strikes me as the crazy type with an insatiable desire to be loved is that she caters her ethnicity to whichever audience she has, she was white then conveniently “sista”, then Spanish.
