Following their two-day mom-and-daughter shopping spree in Paris, Katie Holmes and baby Suri Cruise make their way back to Berlin on Thursday afternooon to join family patriarch Tom Cruise who stayed behind for the filming of ‘Valkyrie.’ Looking characteristically chic, the happy duo were spotted boarding a private jet at Le Bourget Airport, France.
Katie apparently hurt herself during the sojourn when she twisted her ankle following a misstep and fell down with Suri in her arms. She was lucky to get away with just a skinned knee, thanks to the quick reactions of her bodyguard who averted a more serious mishap. Baby Suri was unhurt and we think blissfully unaware of what transpired.

I like her boots. And while I understand if you’re Mrs. Tom Cruise you can just jet off to Paris for shopping, but why is she alone? Couldn’t she have invited a friend or at least her mom?
Katie.. dear, leave the stalleto boots at home when walking in the rain with your baby in arms.. leave those acrobatic feates to Mrs Beckham LOL that said, glad nothing serious happened.
BTW, why is there no travel bashing on Tom and Kate like there is for Brad and Angie?? Just asking?

Maybe, herpes, because Tom doesn’t preach about saving the planet and living more “green.” Not that he doesn’t have a point, but it is kind of a jerk move when you fly all over the globe all the time.
She could have worn some sensible flats on a rainy day like that. I never carried my children wearing sky high heels, I was too afraid I would trip/fall with them, especially on a rainy day. I’m glad Suri is ok, though. She’s too precious!
nah Janie.. I’m talking about no one talks about Tom and Kate dragging Suri all over the planet, but jump all over Brad and Angie.. that’s all. I mean, I get it.. people don’t like Brad and Angie and, so, will jump all over every little thing they do.. but hypocrisy seems to run rampant on most blogs. IMO
I don’t like Brad and Angie because of how they got together. I know it doesn’t effect me personally but I just think if you’re willing to cheat on your spouse - who you promised your life to - or if you’re willing to help someone cheat on their spouse - then who else will you cheat? Its an honor thing, its a character flaw that will show itself elsewhere eventually.
That being said, the way Tom treated Nicole Kidman is just as bad, I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him (which would be FAR he’s such a little shit) but I don’t think that should rub off on Katie or Suri.
^^ I understand what ur saying.. all I mean is that how they got together does not have any correlation with their family traveling habits which are rivaled only by the Cruise’s family traveling habits, yet people will talk shit about Brangelina traveling all the time and not about TomKat traveling all the time, get me? It is what it is Yo!
only1: the difference is they are dragging Suri on quick hops around Europe- mainly staying in Germany. The Brangelina clan seems to go from Africa/Europ/Asia back to the US and back across again in very short periods of time……..that’s just my opinion.

PSL I still don’t get the difference, I’m sure the kids are comfortable for their 1 hour flight or 10 hour flight, IMO — Victoria.. if u look at the pics from previous posts, Suri looks down right excited to run along and play with mommy.. EXCERCISE.. It’s good!

Because Suri is still a baby and Brangelina has older childeren. Older kids are far more effected by traveling than baby’s. Besides they don’t travel as much as Pitt/Jolie, who’s kids never seem to stay at a school/city/country for more than 6 months.
I guess..I moved here when I was 5 from Puerto Rico and moved around A LOT b/c my dad was in the army.. I went to 10 elementary schools and had to make new friends each time.. it was hard sometimes especially b/c my parents weren’t really helpful and just left me to figure things out myself..(divorce) which I think made me a stronger person and better able to understand people and look at all sides of a situation. I admit I’ve F’ed up here and there in my life, but no more (in fact less) than most people I know who have a “traditional” family and lived in the same town their whole lives. And I can’t imagine those kids lives being SOOOO terrible with all the love and attention Brad especially gives them.. plus they have eachother.. So, that argument doesn’t bode well with me b/c of experience.

Katie married a man she knew treated his wife life crap so I don’t see how you can possible say none of this should rub off on her. She sold herself.
Suri does always look quite happy. I just imagine my kids whining every time we go to more than one store. But I suppose it is alot easier when you can hand your bags off to security gaurds who go an whisk them all away to the car the second you leave the store.
Yeah well I would fall down too if I were wearing high heels like these new mommies do. It’s crazy. I used to go with comfort over fashion when I had my babies. Basically I lived in my NIKES. ha!

My dad works for Shell and I moved a million times as well. I lived in several countries all over the world. It sounds much more fun than it is. I never liked it. I am an only child so it was even harder.
Ok, Brangelina’s kids have eachother, but it’s still hard.
Like you said, it does make you stronger. It made me independent on a early age, something I still benefit from. I can also adapt much faster than the average person. BUT that doesn’t mean I like the fact my father dragged me and my mother all over the world. I live on my own now and have friends I don’t have to say goodbye to every 7/8 months. I love it.
OMG.. I hear ya.. I love being grounded as an adult.. it is something I appreciate more than a lot of people do who do not have a displaced childhood.. Also, I liked meeting new people.. sucked to leave friends, but I LOVED making new ones..and I loved planes and trains, so that was always exciting for me. to each his own I guess. Brad and Ang say they are chilling out after this last movie she’s doing.. that would put Maddox in kindergarden or first grade, the others will still be too young yet to miss out.. But, except for Shiloh, considering the futures these kids were facing before they were adopted, I don’t think they are damaging them too bad.. I turned out pretty great and u seem too as well.
Chilling out after this last movie she’s doing??? She has 2 more movies lined up. Both are for a 2008 release which means they will be shot this year and maybe early next year.
Brad has 4 movies for a 2008 release all of them still have to be shot. He also has 1 movie for 2009 planned. So these two are not gonne chill out for quite some time. Check imdb.com if you don’t believe me.
See! Britney’s not the only mom who accidentally trips with her baby? I don’t see anyone jumping out and calling Katie a bad mom. Accidents happen with babies and its an awful experience for a mom to drop their kid! Suri is such an adorable little girl, I think its cute that they went on a little shopping spree together.
