It was an afternoon of quality for Mark Wahlberg and his 5-year-old daughter Ella Rae as the father-daughter duo were seen leaving the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood yesterday (March 15) after a day of shopping.

Mark will soon hang up his hat as dedicated family guy for a while as he’s just signed onto a thriller called Prisoners about a Boston man who turns vigilante after his young daughter and her BFF are kidnapped. The script is being written by an up-and-comer Aaron Guzikowski, however, there is no director attached to the project.

Once a director commits, the package will be shipped around to some very eager studios. Lots of buzz surrounds this flick, but who knows if the script is really worth the hype. If it’s another Taken, a gory good time shall be had by all!
