Just in from TMZ: Lindsay Lohan will not stand trial for DUI.
The chronic rehabber just struck a deal by pleading no contest to two counts of DUI (driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher).
Earlier today, she was charged with seven felony counts relating to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
LiLo must serve a minimum of four days in jail. Perhaps alongside fellow jailbound BFF Nicole Richie? That would make the fiercest photo-shoot eva!
UPDATE: Oh, how things change! The judge has cut Lindsay’s four-day sentence in half, then gave her credit for serving one day — the night she was arrested — so she now has to serve 24 hours in jail. She must do that by January 18.
On top of that, she must also perform 10 hours of community service, is on probation for 36 months and must attend an alcohol education program for 18 months.
“She’s getting what everyone else would get,” Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers said after an hourlong hearing.

This is an OUTRAGE. Any of us would have been rotting in a cell while they were deciding what the charges were going to be!
That is absolute Bullshit. I agree with parissucksliterally; any of us would be SCREWED.
Only four days?? You’ve got to be kidding me! Lindsay’s charges seem to be a lot more serious than those of Paris and Nicole. If I were Paris I would be really pissed that both Nicole and Lindsay were getting easier sentences than me. Paris seemed pretty tame compared to them, at least there was no drugs involved in hers.
By letting her off so easily, the DA is pretty much nailing her coffin shut!
i moving back to LA asap so I can relive my early 20’s without fear of any law because this is what the third celeb case in the past few months where they have received a slap on the wrist.

Really ridiculous. Even Paris got more days than that! WTF?
I don’t think any of us would get a harsher punishment either. It’s LA, there is no room for inmates, and especially someone who committed something as “harmless”.
SayWhut - that is in civil court, not criminal court, he’s suing her for damages.
More to the point is that her movie studio paid off the DA. You gotta love Tinseltown!
Really GLAD she got off with a slap on the hand–she needs to stay in Utah for a good while and get herself right. Going to jail for even one day is going to be a media circus to say the least and certainly will not do her any good. She needs to stay away from all that crap for a while (min. 90 more days) But it would be cool if she and Nicole could report to jail at the exact same time–LOL….
A good friend of mine got caught with a half a pill of X (a HALF A PILL) and they wanted to put him in jail
for 5 YEARS. She is getting off light becuase she is famous. Period.
What’s really interesting is that all these girls (Linds, Brit, Parisite) seem oblivious to the fact that the public is completely disgusted with them and really hates them too. And they don’t even care
Anyone else think she will show up at 11:45am, then just stay a few hours? What happened to putting people in jail for years for DUIs? It’s not even her first offense!
