California’s attorney general Jerry Brown railed on Anna Nicole Smith’s boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, during a press conference today, branding him as her “principal enabler” and saying the charges against him and two doctors for providing her with prescription drugs are “damn serious.”
“My hope is the message will go out: Doctors do not have a license to pump innocent and often vulnerable people full of dangerous chemicals,” he said.
While he didn’t complete blam Stern and the docs for Anna Nicole’s untimely death in 2007, he did say the charges uncovered behaviour just as troubling as “street corner” drug dealers.
If convicted, the troublesome trio face a “theoretical maximum of five to six years” in prison according to L.A. County Deputy Dist. Atty. Richard Doyle.

glad someone finally put this bitch in his place. i was wondering what took them this long to pursue charges. he should be in jail.
sure did take a long ass time for him to get his….
I he doesn’t get out of this one. I’ve always thought there was something really shady about not only his involvement with Anna’s drugs, but also his involvement with the death of her son. I know it’s far-fetched but it seems to me like he wanted them both dead in order to cash in on her estate. Dannielynn however screwed it up for him, especially when he turned out to not be her father.
This man is a social parasite, not unlike Madoff.
RIP Anna Nicole and Daniel Smith. I hope they get to the bottom of their mysterious deaths.
