After spending the day in Madrid yesterday, the lucky lovebirds were arriving in Rome early this morning (March 13) where Reese is busy promoting her new CGI flick, Monsters Vs Aliens, alongside co-star Kiefer Sutherland.
During a press conference yesterday, Reese revealed her children — 9-year-old Ava and 5-year-old Deacon – had very different interpretations of her new movie.
She said: “I was driving them home from the theatre and I said to my kids, ‘So what do you guys think is the message of the movie?’ And my daughter very thoughtfully said, ‘I think it’s a movie about never letting someone underestimate you and always living up to your true potential.’ I said, ‘You’re so astute Ava, yes that’s exactly what it’s about’. Then I said, ‘Deacon what do you think this movie is about? Friendship… or being an outsider…?’ And he said, ‘I think it’s about when octopus aliens come to your planet you’ve got to make sure you kill them.’”
She added: “So I think they both really understood the film and what we were trying to get at!”
Monsters Vs Aliens is out on April 3.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal’s fauxmance continues.
Meg, and your ignorance continues.
Love Jake and Reese!
Don’t look at them Meg , You hurt you!
Those fakers are so boring and unconvincing.
Poor Reese, she needs fake boyfriend to get real publicity.
I just don’t like these two together I bet they are “real” but it still seems all about the image and publicity to me anyway.
