The fairweather actress will make her return to the small screen with a role on A Beautiful Life, a new CW series produced by Ashton Kutcher.
The project revolves around a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York.
Says Miss Barton: “Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it’s about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I’m used to being around a lot of people in that.
She adds: “[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it’s a totally different character for me.” Of course, it is.

I hope the show covers how models take a lot of drugs because Mischa clearly knows a lot about that too.
So… 8th & Ocean the TV series? Been there, done that, Blah Mischa.
I heard her role is a fading model trying to stay relevant. It’s going to be practically a reality show for Mischa.
I don’t think it’ll be like 8th & Ocean. This is scripted while 8th & Ocean was reality.
I think Mischa is perfect for this role. She’s HOT!
Ahhhh no I understand her weight loss! She really couldn’t have passed as a model before when she wasn’t stick thin! I think she will be good for the role actually, and even though people thought she was terrible on the OC I thought the way she played her character was awesome. I miss her on tv dramas.
