The devotees complained when they couldn’t buy tickets for a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania despite being promised priority booking when they paid $29.99 to sign up for Mileyworld.com.

An investigation discovered the fan club was still offering the perk after gig tickets reserved for pre-sales had sold out. A settlement was agreed in a Pittsburgh court which awards the disgruntled fans four months’ free membership. The company that runs the fan club will also pay a $20 000 civil penalty.
