ELLEN AND PORTIA MAKE IT TO MADEO

It was date night last night (March 6) for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. The happily married couple enjoyed an evening of dinner and romance at Madeo restaurant in Los Angeles.

Though they were all smiles, their union in matrimony could be scrapped and ruled invalid within three months. Seven judges have 90 days to decide whether 18 000 same-sex couples, including Mrs. and Mrs. DeGeneres, were wed according to California’s constitution.

This is merely latest chapter in the ongoing and seemingly neverending dispute over California’s gay marriage laws. The Californian Supreme Court in San Francisco yesterday heard arguments from gay rights advocates and gay marriage opponents over the state’s controversial Proposition 8 rule.

I love this couple! I hope they have children soon because they would make awesome parents. I love Portia’s style. I became aware of Portia a decade ago and since then she’s been a style icon of mine. Even when Portia’s out walking her dog she looks good.

It might sound strange to some people but I’m a Christian who thinks that gay people should be allowed to marry. Love is love and no should be discriminated against. God loves everyone!

I wish the courts would make up their minds. Good Lord..if people want to be married..LET THEM!!! It’s no ones business what goes on inside the house..live and let live!! I agree with you Molly!!!

AWwww look how cute Portia looks in her little schoolgirl outfit! I think her and Ellen make an amazing couple and they are obviously really happy together and have been for years. I think this whole thing about the gay marriage laws is just ridiculous. If they were going to take their rights away from them so soon after granting them WHAT IS THE POINT! It’s like the old Indian giving thing everyone used to go on about in school. Why not let them get married? I don’t see what threat a gay couple could possible place on the community. Most gay couples I have met are a lot more functional than the hetero couples to be honest.

In light of the world crumbling economy, gay marriage is the country obsession?!!! It’s okay for the corporate CEO’s to screw the people but it’s not okay for the gay and lesbian to screw each other?!!
