ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BETTY?

After a successful first season full of awards and accolades, the ‘Ugly Betty’ gang joined star of the show America Ferrera last night at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles last night for the DVD launch.
During the celeb-filled event on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip, America told reporters: “I crack up the most, and I am kind of useless when I am behind the camera if anybody else is in front of the camera, because if they are doing something funny, I can’t contain it. I am the worst. I make them do like 50 takes.”
Those outtakes are part of the special bonus features included in the DVD set, which also takes a look at how to get “Bettyfied.”
Also on hand for the swanky shindig were Vanessa Williams, Rebecca Romijn, Eric Mabius, Ana Ortiz, who said that America was a surprise guest at her June 9th wedding to Noah Lebenzon.
The first season DVD of the award-winning series is on sale Tuesday and includes a number of behind-the-scenes features!

I think America is really beautiful and she seems like just a really sweet girl. Rebecca looks HOT! I don’t usually like her but she looks good here.

Um.. just wondering what mutant form comes without sweat glands.. hot light bulbs from cameras and rushing about.. gee, wonder why she’s sweating.. some people are just sweaters.. better than haters!!!!

they should have like pit-pads you can put under ur arms that block sweat from getting on your clothes… like a a arm pit maxie pad or something.. do they make something like that????

There’s a surgery you can get for that. I used to have that problem. You can’t help it, it even happens when you’re freezing cold.

EWWWW those sweat marks are gross! She’s experienced this before you would think she would learn which fabrics to stay away from and to wear anti-perspirent. I’m kinda over this show unfortunately, I watched the first like 7 episodes and it just wasn’t interesting enough to keep me watching. It was sorta like a TV version of the Devil Wears Prada only with shittier clothes.

antiperspirants don’t help, stephi, trust me, I used to have that problem when I was younger, thankfully it just went away on its own, but nothing helped, glad I didn’t have to get the special surgery they do for it.
