While wife Ashlee Simpson stayed at home to take care of the kid, celebrity metrosexual Pete Wentz enjoyed a little me time as he spent a few hours at a Beverly Hills hair salon yesterday (March 1) getting his hair done.
After a cut, colour and blowdry, the Fall Out Boy bassist showed off her spikey Emo-inspired coif much to the approval of the paparazzi.
Meanwhile, in a new interview with Britain’s Live magazine, Pete says he is convinced he is going to be murdered. And he’s so paranoid his life is going to be taken that he won’t open his front door in case someone is there waiting to kill him.
Says Mr. Wentz: “I refuse to answer my front door because I’m convinced someone is going to murder me. I used to think that some day I’d end up murdering a close friend or relative. Now it’s reversed and I’m convinced it’s going to happen to me. That’s the way I’m going out, I’m completely sure of it. So I refuse to answer the front door — it greatly minimises that risk.”
The pint-sized rocker also revealed his bipolar disorder - which is a form of manic depression - is now under control after marrying Ashlee and becoming a father to their baby son Bronx.
He adds: “While I’ll always be bipolar, I find it easier to deal with now. I remember being extremely happy at the age of four. I went to visit an aunt in Switzerland and remember feeling ecstatic the entire summer. But now is even better. With marriage and fatherhood, I’ve finally found two fixed points in my life. They’ve taught me patience. They’ve also taught me that I don’t need to feel guilty about being happy. My emotional seasons are less extreme.”

I like that he is being honest about his bipolar and not trying to seem like perfect person. Nobody should be teased because of something that they cannot help. I’m sure he’s had a rough time with it over the years, but its great to hear he’s found happiness in his life and a way to deal. And the whole murder thing…some people do just have feelings like that and sometimes they are right. It’s good to be careful and go with your instincts but he shouldn’t let it ruin his quality of life.
