Dog may be man’s best friend but it’s a socialites best shopping companion!
Paris Hilton proved that fact during an afternoon of retail therapy in Los Angeles yesterday (March 1).
Meanwhile, in a new interview with The London Free Press, the star of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF talks (endlessly no less) about her obsession with being taken seriously.
“I am taken very seriously as a businesswoman, in the business world and by the people I do business with,” she says. “If anyone wants to say otherwise, they have no idea what they’re talking about.”
When asked whether she likes her titles to be described as businesswoman/singer/actor/brand (in that order), Paris responds with: “Yes, definitely, because that’s what I do. I’ve created a brand and built an empire off of being myself, and my name. I’m very hands-on in everything.”
As for what we can expect to see from Miss Hilton in the near future? Despite a failed debut album, she expects to drop her sophomore album later this summer. “I’m just doing a couple more songs and as soon as I have time I’m going to plan out a tour,” she says. “It’s just hard with my schedule.”

oops she forgot to finish her sentence: “I’m just doing a couple more songs and as soon as I have time I’m going to plan out a tour,” she says. “It’s just hard with my schedule AND MY COMPLETE LACK OF SINGING SKILLS
I think she has done really well for herself and she really has created an empire and her own brand. She could have easily just kept partying and lived off her parent’s money and waited for her massive inheritance, but she hasn’t. She’s gone out there and kept herself busy which is good. She needs to realise though that her whole brand is based around her being a ditzy, blonde, pink-loving princess and it will be a very hard thing for her to change that image of herself. That is what has made her famous and that’s what she chose to put out there.
