It’s a sad, sad time in pop music.
With the likes of Beyonce touring the world and Christina Aguilera knocked up, we’re forced to focus on far lesser talented singers still looking for their first big hit.
That being said, former Pussycat Doll frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger continued to strive from a solo career as she dropped by the NYC set of MTV’s ‘Total Request Live’ today.
Rocking a silver mini-dress and spiked ankle boots (trend watch!), the raven-haired songstress was on hand to debut her latest single, ‘Whatever You Like’ featuring T.I.
As for her semi anticipated solo debut ‘Her Name Is Nicole’, look for an October 16 release date. If not to check out what she can do on her own, it’s worth the download just to hear the Ne-Yo-produced songs that were originally meant for Britney Spears.

I know I should be grateful that she’s at least decently covered up but that dress should not be on a body like hers. Nicole and Beyonce are both talented but both overexposed, before when you did a solo project you hid away and tried new things then you came back with a fresh style and look instead of just bringing out an album while you wait for the next performance with your group.

she’s got a great body and a decent voice compared to what else is out there. t.i. is a great rapper, but why oh why did they make this song? it’s god-awful and terrible to be someone’s first single.

wow low blow arasto….she is talented though, she carries the PCD. IMO. The girl can sing, so she’s got something….Definitely overexposed though.

Nicole is a MUCH better singer than Beyonce. All Beyonce does is scream and whine - she has no vocal range.

I’m glad that that song didn’t reach Britney…its got a hot beat but that’s about it. It’s very forgettable and not a very good first single…I expected way better from Nicole actually. I think she is absolutely gorgeous and she is talented. She’s a good dancer and singer but I honestly think she could do better in the modelling world. And you know I can’t miss a chance to bash Beyonce…..Nicole has a better body, voice, songs, hair, personality….should I go on?

I agree with Stephi, I think she’s naturally beautiful. She’s one of the few who look better with no makeup.

those boots are christian dior and they are amazing! and i used to hate her until i saw PCD open for christina aguilera and i realized that all the pussycat dolls can sing, really well actually! it gave me a new respect for them
