With Prince William and Kate Middleton off on a tropical island vacation, buzz is beginning again that the two have rekindled their relationship and will soon be engaged.
The happy twosome arrived in the Seychelles Islands for a romantic getaway yesterday. The trip, along with the announcement over the weekend that Kate has been given the keys to Clarence House (a.k.a. Casa William), has led to speculation that the couple will come home engaged - or even married!
Unlike previous trips where they have been joined by a large crowd of friends and watchers, their latest excursion is one that they are taking as a couple.
The cost of the uber luxe resort that Wills and Kate are staying in during their week-long vacay? A mere $10 000 per night.

I really really hope they do get married… she is so lovely and seems really smart.. plus the Queen likes her which is a big step in that family.. Princess Kate.. sounds really nice.. no?

^^one thing Kate definitely has over Diana, the Queen HATED Di after the divorce and didn’t think much of her either way when she married Prince Charles
Hopefully William has a backbone and his dad will back him up and let him marry whomever HE wishes and spit on all the royal advisors and courteseans (sp?) who seem to have way too much influence when a royal’s marriage is concerned.
well … the earliest they can marry is 2009. they wont be married this year obviously, his cousin peter phillips is getting married next year & only one royal wedding allowed annually … so the earliest wills & kate can marry is 2009. & his other cousin zara phillips probably be getting married in 2009 so that means wills & kate not until 2010.
Don’t you think, Ash, that if William wanted to get married he could bounce those other people? Sure he may be polite enough not too, but I’m sure he could get it done.

Well he IS a prince, I’d be surprised if he went to the Travellodge and hired a paddleboat…anyway, good luck to them, she seems nice if a bit stiff but at least she’s not like Harry’s girl Chelsea that girl is like Lindsay Lohan but with better ‘breeding’
So true Supersonic! I’m really glad they’re back together but man its got to be hard for the girl to live with that pressure (which won’t ease until she has a royal baby)

Honestly I don’t think they ever broke up. I think that the paprazzi was getting really crazy around Kate and they realised that something needed to be done to cool it down a bit…so they said they had broken up. This time around they seem to be keeping it all a bit quieter and hopefully letting her adjust into the life of being a possible royal. It would be a massive step for her but I think she would make a great wife to William. She seems like a smart girl…and she’s got a great bikini body!

I too never thought they broke up, just took a break to cool things off with the press. It was getting ridiculous the amount of press they were getting and all the speculating. Now it a bit more manageable.
As for only having one wedding a year, please William is the heir to the throne, a prince. His cousin is not even titled and very minor in royal activities. He’s certianly not going to hog the best wedding places or anything, just have a small wedding. He’s not important. No they could very well get married next year, and I hope they do. Getting engaged and waiting a whole two years to marry? Too much pressure on Kate to last that long.
