Proving that a big show is just around the corner, Britney Spears ditches the brunette locks for a blonde wig as she and fellow VMA performer Criss Angel head to Teddy’s on Friday night after a full afternoon of rehearsals.
While there are an endless list of bad things to say, I like to focus on the positive. Brit hasn’t looked this clean and fresh in ages. Agreed?

oh, BTW….Timbaland, who is the MUSICAL DIRECTOR of the VMA’s said he hadn’t heard anything about Britney performing, but he hopes she isn’t because it will be a big headache………..

The only way to save herself on the VMAs is to lose the wig/extensions, dress like a normal person and actually sing without dancing around like a stripper who works the day shift out by the airport.

I like Brit as a brunette but she really does look a lot younger and fresher as a blonde…more like the old Britney I guess. She really doesn’t look like a happy girl though does she? But I mean I wouldn’t be exactly thrilled if everytime I took a step out of my house people who don’t even know me have a reason to hate me or bring me down. The girl gets picked on for EVERYTHING….it seems almost cool to be mean to Britney. How sad is that? I hope she doesn’t screw up this performance and finally can give people something positive to talk about!
I don’t think she looks that much better. I agree with Stephi, I think it’s the blond hair that is giving her that “fresh” look. Otherwise she still looks kinda trashy and unhappy.
I would love to see the performance but I don’t think anybody will let her ass on the stage. That dress and those shoes are crazy!! Does she have matching nipple tassels under there?

She looks good. However, in all seriousness, I think the girl needs to eat some fruit. I’m a fruit person, and if I don’t have at least 3 servings of fruit a day, I feel bloated and my face feels puffy/dry. It may be psychological, but when it comes to my complexion, I swear by fruit, man.

I’m with you starshine!! Fruit always seems to add more of a glow to my complexion and I think basically if you fill up with fruit and vege instead of processed foods you are bound to feel (and look!) a lot healthier.

…nobody has mentioned the color contacts. She looks good in this pic, not greasy at all. You know what always adds a glow to MY complexion, ladies? Birth control pills. Seriously, nice side effect, clears my face right up. Brit hasn’t popped out a kid in the last year or so, could she have discovered the wonders of birth control?

Even if she does perform at the VMA’s people will still find a way to mock her and not in an affectionate way either.
She looks like future Lohan here but admittedly the darker hair is much more draining and she somehow looks dumber with dark hair.
