After a quick workout, Deborra-Lee Furness returned to their apartment before sending off 8-year-old son Oscar off with his nanny.
The family matriarch then left with hubby Hugh Jackman and their 3-year-old daughter Ava to pick up some breakfast.
Meanwhile, in his first Oscar interview, Hugh talks about the shock he experienced when he found out that he had been selected as this year’s host. Equating himself to a “stunned mullet,” Jackman says, “I was shocked and very exicted. I told my wife who was sleeping beside me and neither of us got to sleep for about three or four hours after that. So it was a very, very exciting night and I’ve been pretty much excited ever since.”
As for what the heck on earth a “stunned mullet” is? According to inside source (i.e. the internets), it means complete bewilderment or astonishment like “you’ve had a bit of a shock, mate, as any mullet fish would have when its head is smacked across the gunwale by a fisherman.”

I believe both their kids are adopted. Oliver may be mixed (I think he is). Because Hugh’s wife is like 15 years older then him. Maybe they couldn’t have kids together because of her age. Anyhoo, I think they are a lovely family.
Oh I get what you are saying Anonymous #2. Oliver needs to wash and comb his hair. He looks much better when he hair is combed.

I kind of like that he’s with someone who is so average looking. When he talks about her you can tell he completely adores her, and I think it says a lot about the type of guy he is. In all honesty, he could have a lot younger and better looking women than her but I really don’t think it has ever crossed his mind. And as for him being gay? I don’t think so! Just because he played a gay character on stage says nothing other then he’s a good actor if it’s so beleivable to some people!
He tries too hard to convince people he isn’t gay by making comments like this. He’s done it his whole career. He’s cute, sweet, and a great singer, but he’s a light weight as an actor. He pulled off playing Peter Allen so convincingly because he wasn’t acting.
#8 - Hugh a “light weight” as an actor? You have GOT to be kidding. Let’s see….Wolverine, Curley (Oklahoma), Leopold, Angier, Tommy/Tomas/Tom, Drover…..completely diverse roles, all played very believably by Hugh Jackman. He “disappears” into his roles so that it you don’t even realize it’s the same guy. As for his comment about his wife sleeping beside him - news alert for #1 and #8 - Hugh was in a hotel in London when he got the call, so all he was saying was that she was with him, not at their home in Sydney. Stop twisting words to fit your misconceptions.
