Big screen beauty Angelina Jolie and her British costar James McAvoy enjoy some laughs Monday on the Chicago set of their upcoming flick, ‘Wanted.’
The two actors were in the Windy City to put the finishing touches to the sci-fi action, which also features Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman.

I thought it was Zach Braff too! I wonder if this movie is going to suck like the rest of her films do lately. She and Brad are so sicking…….I don’t care if I ever see either of them in a film again. I used to LOVE both of them, pre-crazy behavior, anniston break-up, crazy adoptions, blob comment, etc. Now, well, not so much. Actually, they both are sorta nauseating.

pre-crazy behavior? Um, Angie was always crazy.. she’s actually calmer now. and why is it crazy to adopt? Just sayin’ .. anyway.. I am not so interested in them anymore. They are boring… working.. parenting.. doing whatever they do. Not much interesting going on… hopefully the razzi stop breaking their necks and the law to take photos of them, it’s not worth it.

And I think it’s a little stretch to say that films Angie is in bomb b/c of her… the movies she’s in are done more for artistic merrit the mainstream approval. People do not NOT go see movies b/c Angie is in them… it’s just the movies she was doing before were designed to be blockbusters like Tomb Raider and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. A Mighty Heart aint for everyone, nor is Beowulf.. so get off of blaming her for movie bombs.

A Mighty Heart is something I would watch at home but I don’t want to spend my weekend crying in a theatre. She is an OK actress but that is all. It is the same with Halle Berry it is just all about looks mostly. I bet a million that by next week the top pic will be in all the rags with a headline about her scrumping another costar.

Thank you only.1 that was a very smart post! Angie is a far better actress than people give her credit for and her looks haven’t helped her in the public opinion because like my2cents they seem to think thats how she got where she is. She hasn’t been known when she was starting out and when she got her Oscar might I add for using her looks just remember those bleach blonde dreadlocks and then the short hair and all the tattoos. She’s a talent but I think she needs more mystery about her before people get too hateful.
Now to dumb things down a little, James McAvoy is the sex. Maybe its the accent but phoawr!

Umm, I have to agree with “my2cents”… women like Angie and Halle are not great actresses, just great looking. The award she won from Girl, Interrupted…I really liked the movie, but it seemed like an easy role because she seemed to be playing her own self at the time. Same thing goes for Gia. That role wasn’t really much of a stretch. Just my opinion. Now, I will specifically watch this movie because Morgan Freeman is in it. Now I can’t wait for Beowulf. The only other movie I am awaiting with as much anticipation is The Golden Age. And I will be honest, when I heard she was in Beowulf, I felt a bit disappointed. And that is not Angie bashing because of her personal life. That is based on her acting. In Alexander, nothing could have saved that movie, but she contributed to the worst acting in that damn movie. The only saving grace was Val Kilmer. Poor Val… great actor but now horrible to look at. (sigh)

I am not a fan of the Brangelina couple and have no idea if this film wil bomb. but at least she still getting work, she has several films to release and still will shoot a Clint Eastwood movie AND she passed a few projects next year ( like Sin City 2) so obvius she still has prestige in Hollywood, and lets not forget that she is Brad Pitt’s woman and still young.
As much as i hate to bring Aniston to this talk i have to say, this is exaclty how an Alist celebrity with tons of offers work, they read scripts, say yes tosome crap project, then after a few months starts production, you shoot the damn film and then goes to promotion. Thats how Nicole Kidman, Keira Knygtley, Rachel Weiz, Cate Blanchet, Kate Winslet, even fucking Linsay Lohan.
The reason a I always thought Aniston was a big PR fraud is that, for her name to continue in Headlines, her PR team releases informations about she almost doing a film, or metting with producers, or buying the script, or metting in a New York restaurant with a possible actor for the movie, or signign to do a movie in the next fall, YET I never see that woman in a fucking set film. Her last film was in 2005, mind you we are going to 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!! And dont tell that she is just taking a break, her movies just DONT GET a green light.
So i know that people here love to hate the Brangelina couple, but at least they work, and dont come with the crap she is already too rich, like Angelina and Brad are some kind of minimm age workers, THEY ALL ARE RICH IN HOLLYWOOD.
I heard in thios very own blog, some of her fans saying that her carrer was one most solid in Hollywood

i agree with you Nanda, every time i see an article about Jennifer going to see some producers, or she may do a film in the summer, or Jennifer will be showing her “direct film” in some festival all i can think about is DESPERATE carrer move to show that she still is working in Hollywood, i mean what else can she do? i give two years TP for he to be back in tv.

Jennifer movies are there since 2004 and they just DONT MOVE. even Kate Holmes film is already in POST production.

Stop looking for excusses. Saying her movies don’t do wel because they’re artistic and not mainstream is bullshit. Lot’s of Hollywood stars do artistic movies but they get far more succes from both the public and press.
“A Mighty Heart” grossed $9 million worldwide. While Babel, also not an easy movie, grossed $138 million worldwide. “The Hours” another movie that is not for everybody grossed $108 million worldwide. “Billy Elliot”, a small british movie with unknown actors, grossed $109 million worldwide. Even “Being John Malkovich” grossed more than “A Mighty Heart” and that one was released in limeted theaters.
The thing is, if a movie is good it will find an audience nomatter how artistic it is. Jolie’s movies just aren’t that good. Another reason might be that people aren’t interested seeing her on the big screen. She’s pretty and has a high profile these days but that’s not enough to get an audience.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 where is the viciousness in my post, i never claim she is fugly, or a bad person or a whining biacth like the Brangeline crazies, but if you ask me if i think her carrer has hit a wall i will say out loud, YES, she is almost 40, no Meryl Streep in terms of Oscar and she did stay an entire decade in a sitcom, which makes audience to get tired of you.
Now just ask yourself if ANY of the things that i said arent true?I will say again will she work again in some film, of course even Rumer Wills gets hired in this city, will she ever be big as she used to be, A BIG FAT NO, the prestigious parts she losses to Kate Winslets and the Cate Blanchets and she isnt box office gold, she had 8 prjects in films when Friends ended, now she doesnt have any, those listed in IMBD are there for centuries.
Just like i say that Angelina’s Films will never make money if depend only on her simple because SHE ISNT LIKEABLE. Audience doesnt like her and that homewrecker thing didnt helped, thats not me being a hater, thats just being honest.

Some of her movies made money but not because of her but because of her co stars (Jim Carry, Ben Stiller etc, etc) She always played a small role in her really big hits. The movies were she was the lead floped. If you look at her hits and the actual role she played in them, you would see she wasn’t that importent for their succes. Maybe they her lead role movies bring in a lot of money on DVD. Maybe that’s why she’s so high on that list. That’s the only explanation I can think of because I sure don’t understand why she was placed so high.

She was placed so high only because The Breakup made money in the US but very little overseas because most US comedies make little overseas. Angelina was ranked right behind Jen. Angelina is younger, has an Oscar, and has a huge worldwide following like Brad, and the studios love actors who make big overseas money which is where most money is to be made these days.
A Mighty Heart has not opened anywhere but in the US, and will not open overseas until the 2nd or 3rd week in SEPTEMBER. So the total for that movie is unknown until it opens through the end of this year overseas. It is still playing in about 80 theatres in the US. The total for AMH will be known by the end of the year. For example, Babel earned only $30+ mil in US but $100mil overseas.
Nanda was just telling the truth. If an actress is getting closer to 40 (jen will be 39 next year) and has not acted in a movie since 2005 she has a huge problem. Actors are never rich enough to not work if they still are actors. Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore and other much younger actresses work constantly. None of Jen’s listed movies in IMDB have been greenlighted, and Meryl Streep backed out of the Jen movie listed in IMDB. Her career is stalled and that’s the truth. The new movie announced for her is not with an A or B list star and that;s the truth. Romantic comedies go to younger women actors. That’s cruel but that’s Hollywood. She stayed in tv too long, she’s typecast.

since ‘a mighty heart’ was brought up in the comments… just want to say i wouldn’t want to see it because of the subject. plus, i already know how it would end. other movies like babel, billy elliot, hours, being john malkovich… have an idea, but didn’t know what those were about. btw… LOVED being john malkovich!!
normally, i don’t know if i’d see a movie just because angelina is in it… even before brad.
