Rocker Courtney Love gets naked and speaks her mind in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
Courtney on her weight loss: “I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I have done it through being quite disciplined… Some people think it’s about weight loss, but it’s about detoxing.”Courtney on some actresses dieting habits: “I hate reading magazines where the actresses are saying ‘Broccoli and fish, broccoli and fish.’ You liars. You bulimic liars.”
Courtney on her troubled past: “I cracked. And I cracked in public, and so I lost all of my credibility. For many years, I took pills. I felt like I had this dirty secret. Other people can have glasses of wine and things like that because they’re normal people who can do things like that. But if you’re allergic to that stuff, you just are, and you can’t.”

Didn’t she just have a bunch of saggy skin a few weeks ago, and a pale bloated face and all kinds of other messes going on w/ her body and face? That was a quick makeover…or there’s a TON of airbrushing going on. I’ll go with the latter…

Oooh its an oldy but a classic, ‘allergies’ to alcohol and drugs thats why it overwhelmed her so much and she turned into an incoherent incontinent breast flashing junky.

Also, I’d rather she wore fake Chanel and was not naked. I just ate man….*Shudder*

Ahhh, so she’s ALLERGIC to pills and booze. So she wasn’t really drugging/boozing it up all those years. She was suffering ONE ALLERGIC REACTION AFTER ANOTHER. Wow. I’m so glad I know that now–I really misjudged her!

I hate to admit that I really like this editorial!! Very hot indeed and a great concept. I’m not a big fan of Courtney’s but I really do love her honesty and I actually beleive what comes out of her mouth. I don’t really think it was necessary though to categorize all the other actresses who are dieting as ‘bulimic liars’ though…that’s pretty much doing the same thing she is complaining about people doing to her.
