Morning television goddess Diane Sawyer opened today’s ‘Good Morning America’ broadcast with: “We can’t stop smiling around here this morning!” She then welcomed back Robin Roberts, who returned to work after having breast cancer surgery 10 days ago.
Robin thanked fans for their well-wishes, saying, “The reaction has been just overwhelming and has been so comforting. I’m not ready to do the chicken dance any time soon. One wing is still under repair. But it feels good to say Good Morning America. Thank you, America. Thank you, Jesus. I am so thankful the surgery is behind me. I still have a road ahead of me, but it is a journey that many have taken before me and they are showing me the way.”

I really hope that she is ok. Cancer is a horrible thing that seems to touch everyone’s life in some way or another. I just hope someone can find a cure for it some day that is less invasive than cutting out portions of your body, filling it with toxins, and hoping it works.
RIGHT ON MY2CENTS.. right on!
well wishes to her…cancer has definitely touched my family and i agree, it’s a horrible, horrible disease….
Get well Robin! There’s much for you to do with your young life and the world needs you.
