Joined by their kids Lourdes, Rocco and David, former flames Madonna and Guy Ritchie reuinted yet again during Kabbalah services in Midtown Manhattan last night (February 6).
In this week’s OK! magazine they have a story about Madonna being jealous of her 12-year-old daughter’s youth and beauty. A source tells the tab that the 50-year-old pop diva knows Lourdes is going to grow up to be hot and that boys will soon start paying her some attention. The source goes on to say, “Knowing Madonna’s taste for younger guys, it’s a matter of course that they’ll be dating men the same age. It’s disturbing.”
Madge apparently wants to keep Lourdes’ beauty caged, so at a UNICEF event last year, she refused to let a hairdresser work on her daughter’s hair. The source stated that she “probably didn’t want her daughter to look better than herâ€. And as for the hot pocket topic known as Lourdes’ caterpillar eyebrows, Madonna is the one who refused to let her daughter alter them. Eventually she had to give in and allow Lourdes get her eyebrows shaped!
As once stated, “There’s always someone younger and hotter around the corner.” You just can’t fight youth and beauty!

and then I wanna say, that a mother is NEVER! jealous of her own child…a mother (especially a good one like Madonna) always wants, what’s best for her child!
I’m not a big Madonna fan but even I can’t believe this absurd story. If there’s one thing that’s been obvious over the years is the close and loving relationship between Madonna and her daughter. They’re always together, a lot of times holding hands. I have read interviews with Madonna proudly saying that her daughter is beautiful.
I would be very surprised if I met a mother who wasn’t proud to have a beautiful daughter! And Lourdes is a kind of cool beautiful that nobody can dislike. Also, I’m sure Madonna will find a new man before her daughter starts dating grown up guys.
There are mothers who are very jealous of their daughter. I pretty much think Madonna is capable of anything. Letting that child walk around with those eyebrows was tantamount to cruelty.
I wonder if she’ll pull a Woody Allen and be dating David in 20 years.
This story is vile, ridiculous and disgusting. I hope that the “writer” at shitty OK! magazine will get what he/she deserves for making up this crap.

I think this story is bullshit. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve SEEN Madonna interviews where she discusses being somewhat controlling of her children in terms of what they are exposed to (no tv) and who is allowed around them but I’d hardly call that being jealous (and I’d hardly blame her — this is a woman who has traveled the world and seen and done some crazy shit — she’s protecting her children’s childhood for as long as she can). As far as Lourdes, that is one gorgeous little girl. She’s clearly unique and I LOVE that her hair is super-long and virgin (uncut hair). She’ll have time for all of that but now, just let her be a kid. Also, she has GREAT fashion sense and clearly marches to her own beat.
This is too funny, I have been waiting for this to happen. Women with fragile egos like Vadge are often jealous of their daughters when they start to attract men. And Lourdes is going to be quite pretty so that must really piss her mother off and remind her that she is old and dried up. LOVES IT ! ! !
This story is a joke. I wouldn’t allow someone to doll up a 12 or 11 year old either. Let her enjoy being a child, which is all I’ve ever seen Madonna do with all her children. From outside apperances, Madonna seems to be an excellent mother.

There’s no doubt that Lourdes is going to be gorgeous when she grows up. She is already a very pretty girl. It’s very immature of Madonna to be jealous of her though, she should be proud of her and encourage her beauty. But I’m honestly not surprised if this rumor is true, she seems like she would be very controlling. I’ll be very worried though if Madge starts dating 12 year olds….
