First off, Etta James vs. Beyonce. After a brief dicussion, the verdict was not resolute. While the rest of the roundtable questioned Etta’s tact, Whoopi Goldberg defended the legendary singer by comparing it to her feelings on the Broadway play adation of The Color Purple.
Next, they turned their attention to the battle ensuing between Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway. This time all four of the ladies agreed that an older actress attacking an up-and-coming actress is just not right. And after all, lest she be reminded that she too was once a young starlet trying to make it in Hollywood.
Lastly, discussion turned to the word of words between Ashley Judd and Sarah Palin. Needless to say, resident republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck was the only one who supported the Alaskan Governor’s mission to slaughter wolves.

Oy vey. Elisabeth just had to spout her stupid abortion rhetoric that has nothing to do with the topic whatsoever. Every discussion I’ve heard or read regardig the Ashley Judd PSA has some idiot Republican pulling the abortion card. What a stupid waste of time to discuss anything with people like that. They don’t have the intelligence or intellectual integrity to defend Sarah Palin because they know her position is indefensible.
I agree with Luella. Is it so simple to just say that while there is a necessity to control the wolf population in Alaska but perhaps the method is not the best or the most humane? Elisabeth loses any credibility because whenever she cannot defend a position she just attacks something else without noticing that her point undermines her own argument. If she wants to make the argument that every life is sacred then it should stand to reason that she would be opposed to the aerial shooting of wolves. Ashley Judd is a very intelligent and outspoken woman and methinks that she will not hesitate to respond.
The View proves that women should never hold any positions of power. They have inferior intelligence. Listening to this pack of shrews squabble over each other gives me a migraine.
