The ladies of The View were quick to address the “hot topic” of Michael Phelps and his pot smoking this morning.
Resident self righteous republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck said that the Olympic champ is “being paid millions to be an example,” and that if he’s willing to “take a drug that could impede his performance, would he be open to taking a drug that would enhance his performance?”
Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg chimed in, saying: “I’m gonna make an admission, I hope you all are sitting down: I have smoked weed.” She then added that Phelps is being paid “millions” not to “be perfect,” but “to be a spokesperson for a company.”
This, of course, begs the question: Does this change your opinion of Phelps? The discussion on the controversy begins at 5:35.

Anyway he should have been smart enough NOT to get photographed. I have done plenty of drugs but there is not one photo of me doing them. And I don’t have millions of dollars riding on it. Plus it was only a couple of years ago that he was pulled over for a DUI. He deserves whatever he gets. He is an immature brat who has clearly packed on the pounds and then some.

Because you can grow it in your own yard, like a weed. You don’t need to go to the liquor store, you don’t have to pay taxes on it. It does not benefit big business, or the government. It would only benefit the person who uses it to relax after a hard day of work.
Our money hungry government will not allow that.
Life is not about the people. It is about big business and big government.
And until all of us realize that our lives have been hijacked and we’ve been turned from individuals into tax generating work-bots for the top 1 percent, it will not change.
If everyone would take this year to NOT pay your taxes and show our leaders we mean business
