Celebrity fashionistas stepped out in full force last night (January 29) to attend the annual Sidaction AIDS benefit gala at the Pavillon d’Armenonville in Paris.
Mischa Barton (in Elie Saab), Diane Kruger (in Nina Ricci), Joshua Jackson, Dita Von Teese and Milla Jovovich were merely a few of the family faces who got dressed to the nines for a good cause.
The lady of the evening was undoubtedly Carla Bruni (in an Yves Saint Laurent strapless column) who was the special guest and sponsor. In 2006, France’s first lady lost her brother to AIDS and has gone on to be active in fighting against it for the last few years. Last month she became an ambassador for the Global Fund to Fight Aids.
Mischa simply couldn’t get enough of Mrs. Bruni-Sarkozy, telling reporters: “Her voice is so sexy! How do you get a voice like that?”
The star-studded gala offically brought a week of runway shows to a close. Other attendees included supermodel Laetitia Casta (in Louis Vuitton), fashion designer Stella McCartney, French chanteuse Vanessa Paradis and designer Philippe Starck.

wow, the first lady of France looks great.
WOWWWW looks like Mischa got her style back! That dress is insanely beautiful!! I love all of Elie Saab’s creations to be honest. She really is looking better, her clothes are more fashionable and she’s gone back to a nicer hair color and got a tan as well.
I have to say using the term “stars” for these people is a bit reaching..
Mischa, Mischa, Mischa, you look beautiful, but wtf ever happened to your career? Remember: acting?
What is Pacey Whitter doing there?
everyone is a “star” these days, aren’t they? what a bunch of poorly dressed whogivesashitaobutthem people
THERE IS NO SUCH WORD AS “FRANCE’S” — EVEN WITHOUT THE MISSING APOSTROPHE.
She is the FRENCH FIRST LADY.
Sushi, you couldn’t be more wrong…nice attempt though. France’s is the posessive of France. It is, in fact, a word.
Bruni looks great, but reminds me of a transvestite. Did she has surgery?
Is there any woman more perfect than Milla Jovovich? I think not. Over 30, a mother, and smoking hot! We should all aspire to such greatness!
Your idea of “greatness” and mine are a bit different….
very nice grils are very very nice
have a nice day
