Per Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times:
At Grey Goose Vodka’s party following Sunday’s SAG Awards, Wood was reportedly heard cooing into Rourke’s ear — between nibbling on it — ”Don’t worry, honey, you’ll end up beating Sean [Penn, star of 'Milk'] at the Oscars. … Remember what happened with ‘Brokeback Mountain’? It lost out to ‘Crash.’ There’s still a lot of people voting who won’t give a big award to a gay film.”
When someone pointed out Philip Seymour Hoffman’s best actor win for playing the overtly gay Truman Capote in ”Capote,” Wood backed down, but still insisted Rourke will win over Penn on Feb. 22.
Note: This is coming from a woman who dumped Jamie Bell for Marilyn Manson, so take it with a grain of salt.

So, who exactly was in position to hear this if she was whispering in his ear. This story sounds like a total fabrication to me. Anyone who as been to one of these parties knows that you can barely hear a person 2 feet away shouting at you because it is so loud.
