Newly engaged Geri Halliwell couldn’t have been more eager to show off her huge diamond ring as she arrived at Heathrow airport today (January 27).

The former Spice Girl happily flashed the $310 000 sparkler as she made her way to the terminal just hours after she’d announced she’s set to wed her Italian boyfriend Fabrizio Politi.

Geri looked like the cat who got the cream as she waved her hand around while greeting pack of photographers. The 36-year-old has been dating the yacht tycoon for just two months following a chance encounter at a Florence nightclub in December.

There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement. Politi is said to have proposed down on one knee, with a source telling the Mirror the singer is “over the moon” and has branded him “The One.”

Since their first encounter in Italy, they have been spotted in Paris and London in recent weeks and have already enjoyed a romantic beach break in the Maldives. The Italian multimillionaire yacht company owner who describes his passions as “women, the sea, and designing ships.” He also admits to a weakness for “sex and chocolate.” The superyacht maker started off as a marine broker before building up his company Politi Navi which sells vessels for up to $100 million. He loves designer clothes, watches and says they are “not only necessary, but essential.”

Yep, this sounds like it’s gonna last.
