Oprah is “absolutely not” interested in being an Illinois Senator.
The response came when BFF Gayle King phoned her this morning to relay the news that Gov. Rod Blagojevich said Lady O was someone he considered appointing.
Speaking on Gayle’s Sirius XM radio show, Oprah questioned how she could queeze in official government duties in with “my day job, my mid-day job, my night job, my radio job, my magazine job.”
Nonetheless, Oprah added that she could do the job, but “I’m just not interested.”

You mean Gayle’s, stupid and obnoxious “me-me-me” radio show? No thank you. I have XM and used to listen to her show, but had to stop because tuning in and hearing how everyone in the world kisses Oprah’s BFF is not something that makes the regular person feel good. I mean what has she done? And when she talks about staying at Bono’s chateau in France I just want to kick her. I bet she doesn’t own one U2 album and yet there she is! With my band. Can’t stand her.
