Teri Hatcher proved she loves all things theatrical as she arrived at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild in Los Angeles on Sunday night (January 25).
The Desperate Housewives went couture in a white Monique Lhuillier one-shoulder gown.
Love it or leave it?
Meanwhile, Teri revealed on the red carpet that she wants to babysit the Obama girls. Says the 44-year-old star: “I end up being the great babysitter at every event I ever go to. They’d come my way and I’d be the babysitter, which would be just fine….If we’re ever so lucky to be invited.â€

Looks like crumpled up toilet paper. She is WAY TOO OLD to be wearing something this outrageous.
OMFG. THAT IS THE FUGLIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. that may actually be worse than last week’s Meryl Streep flag dress. lol
I love it! I don’t like her face and hair though …
It looks like drapery. What is with the mountain of fabric these women are wearing tonight?
Is she still as totally insane as she was a while back???
Looks like she pinned-up and belted her mother’s old table cloth.
Plus, her face is tragic now. What a mess. She’s starting to look like a man.
Looks like her eyes have been “done.” She has the plastic surgery/surprised look. Bogus.
i don’t totally love the dress but it’s a standout so far. except for 1 or 2, most dresses have been forgetable.
She’s about as appealing as a vomit sandwich.
She’s sort of been off the radar for a while now. I remember really waiting to see what all the Desperate Housewives women would be really and now nobody seems to care that much. I actually like the dress, it’s something a bit different and she pulled it off. Kudos for her for not being boring and safe.
When I first saw this “dress” it made me think of “Gone With The Wind” when Scarlett O’Hara ripped down the curtains to make a dress….not THAT character - the one Carol Burnett spoofed and used the curtians with the curtainrod still attached….. Now, Teri didn’t use the curtains but used the sheets and beadspread….I am sure if you look are enough you will find the label “Do Not Remove by penalty of law”….*snicker*
Little girls everywhere have attempted to achieve this look by fashioning gowns from their top bedsheet. And I daresay the little girls probably did a better job, too.
Teri looks ridiculous–like an aging, bony, stringy-necked bride. I actually like the idea behind the dress, I just think it could have been executed better without all that fabric below the waist.
