Natalie Portman has hooked up with Animal Planet to appear in a new special to air this fall called ‘Gorillas on the Brink’, about endangered gorillas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Virunga National Park, which borders Rwanda.
Wildlife guru Jack Hanna was her guide for a recent trek there, which included a gorilla-naming ceremony.
No big news, I understand, but just because she doesn’t habitually flash her baby factory doesn’t mean she shouldn’t get some press now and then.

i think she should get press alot more then she does .this is why we see nasty punanis all the damn time because thats intresting .this world is all fucked up ..lets start showing more postive bitchez on this site .i like this girl and i find what shes doing way more fun then clubbing every night .i wish i had the chance do to what she did for this show .once in a life time .shes lucky

I saw her on Sesame Street doing a skit with Elmo. You totally don’t imagine her going out to a club with Elmo later that day and coking it up. She seems a good egg. Though I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that that Elmo is on something. That laugh just isn’t natural.

The thing is, actors / entertainers of Natalie’s calibur needn’t be in the press all the time b/c whether we talk about her once a day or once a year, when one of her movies comes out, people ACTUALLY want to see it b/c they know she’s good. She doesn’t need constant press to continue to get quality parts and keep her name relevant.. she IS relevant. AND her beauty is classic and timeless. She will have staying power unlike most in hollywood today.
Love me some Jack Hanna. He is soo hilarious when he is on Letterman. He makes learning about animals fun.
