Her mother Sharon confirms that her 24-year-old daughter has voluntarily entered a treatment centre outside the L.A. area.
Says the family matriarch: “Yeah, Kelly’s in rehab. What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we’re proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she’s getting it.” She adds: “We just pray that everything’s going to be okay.”
This is not the first time that Kelly has checked into rehab. In 2004, she completed treatment for an addiction to prescription painkillers. The following year, she admitted herself to a California clinic after suffering a relapse.
Here’s hoping the third time’s a charm!

I agree with meme - it seems like the timing of this rehab and her arrest for smacking someone in the face is not coincidental.
If it’s true that she is doing this to evade the assault charges then shame on her. Guess she’s not as tough as she portrays herself that she would rather go to rehab than to jail.. what a punk!
