Gone are the long, blonde locks that 28-year-old Mena tossed around in her role as a temptress cheerleader in ‘American Beauty.’
The actress wore the new ‘do with oversized dark sunglasses, a halter dress and oversized accessories during an outing with friends in Venice Beach, CA on Sunday.
So, did she pulled a Britney? Nope — Mena shaved her head back in June for a new film role.
The reason we haven’t seen the ‘do until now? She wasn’t keeping her bald head down, she was simply out of town, filming the lead role in Ernest Hemingway’s ‘The Garden Of Eden,’ in Spain.

DAMNN I was in Venice on Sunday and I didn’t see her!!! She doesn’t look too bad I don’t think but instead of rocking dresses and going for a glam look I think she should be trying to look a little more edgy like her hair.
