CHRSTINA AND JORDAN THROW SON A ‘WILD’ PARTY

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman threw their son Max a no-expenses-spared bash in honour of his first birthday at their Beverly Hills estate on Saturday.

Throughout the morning, balloons and equipment were delivered at the family home in prepartion of the day-long festivities. The theme of the party was “Where the Wild Things Are.”

The Aguilera-Bratman backyard was outfitted with small safari animals and multicolored balloons for the 40 or so invitees to enjoy.

In a recent interview with US Weekly, Xtina said of her son: “He is a mover and shaker. He is constantly moving, constantly banging on things. I don’t know what that means; maybe he is a drummer in the making, I don’t know. He is just so much fun and I have the best time with him. Every single day is a way for me to see life through brand new eyes. It really is an incredible thing for me every day.”

Max’s 1st birthday follows the heels of another celebrity tot who turned one yesterday — Harlow Madden, daughter of Nicole Richie and Joe Madden.

I never understand when all these celebs go out of their way and spend so much money on their babies birthday parties when they are not even going to remember it. It is just an act of vanity. And Everyone knows how much Christina loves vanity. Too bad the kid and husband are fug.

#3 Too bad your a shallow fool, who thinks looks are the key to everything. Idiots like you always seem to find an answer for everything. If they wasn’t “fug” then you would find something else wrong with this family.
Ever thought maybe they wanted to invite family around celebrate the first birthday? Yes the child will not remember it, but they can look back on it in the future via videos ect.
I don’t see the big deal with it, and if you had their money don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same. I’m sure you would go to the nearest store, buy a sponge cake and thats that!! Please…

I think the balloons are really funky!

As far as parties go, there are always more adults than children at the birthday parties my friends have for their kids — and we’re not celebs — so part of the task is entertaining the adults, too!

Harlow’s birthday is January 11th- not the 18th. I know because my daughter was born the same day.
    Max’s birthday is January 12th.

It’s their money so they can do whatever they want! Christina’s son looks adorable.

The whole idea for the party sounds really cute, but you know a lot of the time the celebs are throwing parties for their ‘kids’ it’s really for themselves so they can invite the A List pals and get some networking going :-) Christina’s house is beyond ridiculous, I drive by there on the way to my friend’s house and it is just sooo open, you can easily see into nearly every front room. It’s the house the Osbourne’s used to live in. It’s also where all the star homes tour buses go past five times a day….looks like she loves the attention.

I forget how privledged these celebs are until I see pictures of their homes…must be nice. And Stephi, why shouldn’t she be allowed to have an “open” house just like every other regular person has a right to. To me it just shows how much more “normal” she is. It’s a beautiful home regardless of who used to live there. Several stars live on the star homes route, why the Christina bashing? I wouldn’t want to live behind hedges and gates like a caged animal either. Your opinions leave me baffled 9 times out of 10!

Anyone who thinks that baby in the little hoodie in that top middle picture is “fug,” seriously needs glasses. ;-)
Get over your jealousy and go elsewhere…
