In a statement, she says: “The film studio and producers involved were more concerned about painting me as a ‘character’ to create a more interesting story line instead of a person with talent, self-respect and who was able to achieve her own career success through hard work.”
She adds: “Even though my relationship with Big was at times very difficult and complicated (as with most relationships we have all experienced at one time or another), it was also genuine and built on great admiration and love for each other. Regardless of the many lies in the movie and false portrayal of me to help carry a story line through, I will still continue to carry his legacy through my hard work and music.”
What does Biggie’s mom have to say about all this? Voletta Wallace dismisses Lil Kim’s criticisms, saying: “This is not a Lil Kim movie. This is a Christopher Wallace movie. It has nothing to do with Lil Kim. If she’s disappointed and upset, that is her problem.”

Is this ho on crack? Has all of that damn plastic surgery tightened her brain to the point of forgetting what a skank she was when she started in this business? SHE WAS A PROSTITUTE. She screwed for money (she admits that). Biggie was the best thing that happened to her but he was also married. She didn’t have talent. She had a very packaged look/performance — again Biggie is responsible for that. She did nothing to help that (as you can tell from her lackluster career since he died - she’s YET to put out an album that comes close to anything she did when she was with him). Go away Kim. Go far away.

I agree with u nova on most of it but I think Lil Kim is a good rapper. She does have some skillz although you are right that without Biggie, she would have been nothing. And she was actually pretty before the Jocelyn Wilderbeast makeover. But you know she was going to open her fat mouth to get some free PR when the movie hit.

I think Kim needs to look at the way that she portrays herself to the public and then she will see that the movie is only showing her the way everyone else sees her. Sure in the background she may be hard-working etc etc but she comes across as a complete money grabbing skank. Surely she sees that, as she’s played on that ‘character’ for years. Good for his mom who said that about her, once again she’s trying to grab publicity over something that shouldn’t even be about her.

First let me say she looks great here. She usually looks a lot more cartoonish. I don’t get why she is offended for being portrayed as a character when she comes out in crazy costumes and different hair color, eye color etc every time you see her. This is the most mainstream she has ever looked.
Not a fan of Lil Kim, but I’m even less of a fan of Voletta Wallace. Biggie’s mother will drive you crazy to the point of wanting to slap her. She’s money crazed, and she’s been a horror were Faith Evans and Biggie’s son is concerned all in the name of money. Sad sick and shameful all the way around.
