Lindsay Lohan is putting to rest rumours that she’s split with Samantha Ronson. Again.
Speculation arose when the usually attached-at-the-hip couple were spotted solo on opposite ends of the country. Adding fuel to th first, Lohan was seen moving in with her little sister Ali last week.
“We never broke up,†Lindsay tells Life & Style. “People don’t have to be together every second. It’s healthy to miss someone, and if you’re in it for the long run, it’s good to know that.â€
So why the distance then? LiLo and SamRo are apparently dialing things down in attempt to salvage their relationship.
Says an insider: “They needed space and time. They’ve been on top of each other with living and work and life. Lindsay’s now in a new house around the corner from Sam. It’s going to allow them some space.â€
And it appears that rough patches in their relationship is nothing new for the couple. Adds the source: “They break up and make up all the time. There are a lot of speed bumps in this relationship — but that’s part of the attraction.â€

I can’t imagine they get much of a rush from the make-up sex any more. There is no way this couple is going to last. The fact that there is one post to this “reconciliation” thread pretty much says it all…we’ve lost interest.
I love them as a couple - I hope they take some time to regroup, refocus on their relationship and make whatever changes are needed to by happy and healthy. Some times that means giving each other room to breathe and realize how much they love each other.
Most of the reports I’ve seen have them fighting every day, very tumultuous, lots of family issues as well, etc. In short, this does not appear to be a healthy relationship… If I’m wrong about that and they can be happy (and healthy) together, then I hope they can work it out.
And not to be a total downer, but I would think something like 95% of relationships don’t survive when the participants “take a break” or “need space.” Most of the time, taking a break is actually one person’s way of starting the breakup process in a way that’s not so abrupt.

apparently they have been doing the break up and make up things for years- the rumors in LA were always on and off- so not sure that this really means anything - its just that now they are more public and everything gets blown out of porportion- i think they are a great couple and wish them the best.

Nobody’s lost interest, we’re just sick of the gossip sites making crap up about them. There is NO actual evidence that they’re fighting, but blogs repeat it until people believe it. Lindsay outright says they’re fine and blogs call her a liar. That’s some bullshit agenda.
They are hounded constantly by paparazzi and it’s obvious that Samantha hates it. They’re a fabulous couple, but I don’t need daily pictures. Only the gossip sites end up looking like losers.
