PETA WANTS MORE ATTENTION

Animal rights group PETA targeted Britney Spears and Paris Hilton yesterday during a protest in LA.
Members dressed as the Hollywood starlets, who are famed for their ever increasing collection of pooches, protested all afternoon for their irresponsible actions. Hilton is in the lead with seven and counting.
Their attempts proved to be futile as Paris and her right-hand pooch visited a friend in Burbank, California yesterday. Making matters worse? She left with a CD with ‘Paris’ written on it.

This is the one time I’d side with the parasite. PETA are scum sucking camera whores who kill more animals than they save. They are attention hungry and I hate ‘em.
Mmmm….a lot like Paris Hilton actually.

Are you all really that fucking dumb … of course Peta are attention hungry … thats the whole point u fucking stupis asshole … they’re bringing to light mistreatment to animals - the only way to do it is to have protests, demonstrations etc… perhaps u should watch some of their videos of animal cruelty … britney & paris deserve what they get, they treat dogs lije purses … they buy a new one & toss the rest aside - they’re dispicable & long live peta - who raises the publics conscience about animal cruelty.

raising awareness for animals is awesome but this protest is bullshit. Maybe people would take them seriously if they protested like real human beings and not like a group of 5th graders. Do grown ass people run this organization or a bunch of immature kids? Because thats what this looks like to me. The sign that the paris hilton bitch is wearing is a crack of bullshit, how do you know she doesnt care id they are dying? She loves animals, PETA should go after britt for taking so many horses hair….

Oh, those girls look great. If PETA can knock sense into just one dog owner or potential dog owner it’s all worth it. There were reports awhile back that Paris takes terrible care of her menagerie of animals - I don’t think she cares about them, she’s just self-indulgent. If PETA weren’t being completely ott, would we even be discussing it here?

does anyone really think that when paris is done with one dog she “throws it away”??? I find that very unlikely. From Paris’s view, think about how that THAT would look if the public found out. I’m sure she just gives them to her assistant’s blind cousin or something rather.

People who talk smack about PETA obviously don’t know much about the organization or the cause. It’s just sad that everyone pretends they love animals then bashes the one organization that gets things accomplished on their behalf.

I’m kind of eh about PETA in general but I like this protest. It’s clever and funny and, like nikka said, if it knocks sense into one potential dog owner it’s worth it. I think purebred dogs are lovely, but I could never in good conscious buy a dog from a petstore or a breeder when thousands of shelter dogs are being put to death each year. I love my pound puppy, he’s the cutest smartest dog in the world (according to me) and I don’t care if he is a mutt. Take a chance on a shelter dog, people!

I think its uncalled for. They should be attacking celebrities that are running around with fake fur on instead of celebrities who buy and care for puppies. I know it is better to get dogs from shelters then from breeders or stores but the dogs have to be cared for anyway. I think if people were more educated and knew to get puppies from shelters instead it would be different, I just don’t think its something people think about too much. I think PETA looks upon celebs sometime to get them attention, when they should be targeting and showing up the bastards in Asian fur factories where they are skinning dogs alive.

For those of you bashing PETA you can go FUCK YOURSELVES. you obviously have NO IDEA how many dogs sit in shelters, homeless, and eventually are put to sleep. People who purchase these designer dogs COULD HAVE SAVED AN ANIMALS LIFE but instead opted for a tiny little dog they could dress up and suffocate in their purses.
I THINK WHAT PETA IS DOING IS AMAZING. THIS IS GETTING THE POINT ACROSS. WHEN YOU ACT LIKE A BIMBO, PURCHASING THESE DOGS LIKE ACCESORIES OTHER DOGS ARE DIEING.
