David Beckham made his debut for AC MIlan against AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico in Rome yesterday.
And if you believe the British press, Becks has already conquered Italian soccer.
The Daily Telegraph write that “while [AC Milan's Alexandre] Pato and [AS Roma's] Mirko Vucinic will get the majority of the headlines … with two goals apiece, Beckham was among Milan’s better players and fitted effortlessly into the team, while producing several passes of trademark quality.”
And while The Independent claimed that Beckham “crossed the ball effectively on numerous occasions,” The Times went on to say that his showing in Rome bodes well for his future with the English national team.
Italian publications, on the other hand, were not so kind.
Writes the Gazzetta dello Sport: “He seemed disoriented, and had trouble understanding where his position on the field should be. He made few errors, without shining, in the first 45 minutes. In the second half, he exited nearly completely from the scene.”

Nice bulge. WOuld have thought it’d be smaller.
That bulge is small wtf?????
looks like a cup bulge!
I’m sorry but I hardly read that article, I was too busy staring at his crotch haha…
People need to give him a break, all players need time to adjust to new teams and working with people you’re not used to. He’s been training with them for a week now and that’s just not enough to get familiarized with the team and their style of play.
Do your balls hang low, do they jiggle to the floor…………
BJB.. shut the hell up!
