PATRICK SWAYZE ENTERS HOSPITAL

Sad news to report.

Patrick Swayze checked into a hospital this morning for treatment for pneumonia.

The ailing actor was scheduled to meet with TV critics and journalists at the TV Critics Association’s winter press tour in Universal City at noon to promote his new series A&E series The Beast.

Patrick has had a very public battle with inoperable stage-four pancreatic cancer. Earlier this week, he told Barbara Walters that living “five years is pretty wishful thinking.” He added: “Two years seems likely if you’re going to believe statistics.”

Praying for only the best for Mr. Swayze.

He is handling himself so well through all of this. My prayers are with him and his wife and I hope he can continue to find the strength within himself to get through this horrible ordeal.

Really pulling for him…loved Point Break so much I took up skydiving.

Also, hope he can stop smoking, it can’t help with the treatment going on at the same time.
Although that would be stopped since chemo interfers with the immune system, right?

I just don’t understand his continued smoking after being diagonosed. So stupid and especially when cigarette smoking has been directly linked to pancreatic cancer to the point of being the main contributor. I’m sorry, but I just don’t get that arrogance, and it is arrogance. He claims to love life and his wife and yet he wasn’t willing to give up the cancer sticks for either.

I forgot to say that I have a cousin who beat the same kind of cancer 5yrs ago. After surviing two back to back extreme surgeries, he changed his lifestyle and just did everything they say one needs to do. His diet, no cig’s, everything, and he looks better now than when he was a really young guy. If Patrick accepted his end that’s one thing, but I got the impression that he believes he’s going to beat it. My question again is, “how when you’re ot willing to drop the smoking?!” I am so angry with him (with love)

TheMirror, I complely understand your point, but with all the terror in his life, he probably has no willpower left to stop smokng. It is not a habbit, it is an addiction. I quit smoking when I had no stress otherwise and it was so incredibly hard to do (and I “only” smoked 25 per day), I only barely made it.

MissJanet, 2/21 will be my 9th yr of quitting after a pack+ a day habit. I know what you’re saying, but his is most definitly a knowing that it is affecting in the moment what he’s dealing with. A doctor on tv this morning said the pneumonia would just be made worse by the smoking, I’m not counting him out yet, but its hard to not feel like he’s not helping himself more.

I was very, very sad to hear this news. I have always enjoyed Patricks movies, he is a great actor.

Can you please pass this message onto Patrick.

Please read Dr Hulda Clark’s book ” The Cure for All Advanced Cancers”, it will save your life. I have tried some of her therapies and it’s truley unbelievable. It will answer all your questions, including the one where you said, “why me?”. There is a 21 day cancer program to follow & must be followed m e t i c u l o u s l y.

    Her website is http://www.drclark.net/en/drclark_protocol/cancer/advanced_cancer/21supplements.php

    Good luck.

    Regards
    Sarah
