She recalled saying to her husband Keith Urban: “I can’t look at this movie and be proud of what I’ve done. I sat there and I looked at Keith and went “Am I any good in this movie? … It’s just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all.”
No word on how Nicole’s country crooner hubby managed to dance around the inevitable answer.

such a disappointment…was truly rooting for this movie……but to have it disected and left for dead is heartbreaking……
I think most movie goers also squirmed given it flopped at the box office, only $45million at the US box office despite a huge $150m budget.
I loved this film, I’m really surprised by all the reviews. It was such a glorious sweeping pic and very moving.
Did she buy a new bra?
Guess she’s trying to save face.. she know’s it sucked.
ocne again what she said was taken out of context. listen to the whole interview.
This movie could have been fantastic had Nicole not been in it. I felt like her and Hugh were really lacking any chemistry at all. They should have brought in a new Australian actress that hasn’t got too into the botox and can still show her emotions on film. I see what she’s trying to say though, it would be hard to get into a movie when you knew how it was filmed and that there were heaps of cameras around the whole time.
Every movie I’ve seen her in makes me squirm. I won’t go to a Kidman movie whatever the reviews are or who’s in it.
She ruined her face with too much Botox. An actor needs a face that moves and shows emotion. Nicole always looks frozen and plastic.
