KATHERINE EXPLAINS THE GET-UP

Fresh off her win at last night’s People’s Choice Awards, a triumphant Katherine Heigl was spotted out and about in Los Angeles today.

The Grey’s Anatomy beauty stayed plugged into her iPod as she jammed to her hubby Josh Kelley’s tunes while running a few errands.

As for Katherine’s unconventional decision to rock a slim cut Dolce & Gabbana pant suit to last night’s star-studded award ceremony? Well, it had a lot more to do with function than fashion.

“It was after the holidays,” she says. “So I didn’t want to wear anything strapless or anything I had to suck in my stomach for.”
