THE PRESIDENT’S CLUB

Barack Obama joined President Bush and former presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton for lunch at the White House today.

Said the President-Elect: “I just want to thank the president for hosting us. This is an extraordinary gathering. All the gentlemen here understand both the pressures and possibilities of this office, and for me to have the opportunity to get advice, good counsel and fellowship with these individuals is extraordinary and I’m very grateful to all of them. But again thank you, Mr. President, for hosting.”

Wowww there’s a lotta power in that room. Interesting bunch of guys, whether you support them all or not. I’m sure they would all have a lot to talk about. Barack Obama comes across as the most honest of them all, I hope actually becoming President doesn’t change him too much.

Power is the sexiest thing in the world. I don’t think Obama is in over his head. I would LOVE to know what George Bush is thinking in that top picture. The look on his face is priceless.

Just remember we were safe no attacks on the american or canadian soil.
Safety is not something I would exchange for “free healthcare”.
Obama’s choice of Mr. Panetta will put us at risk.

I hope all these men enjoyed their wallow at tax payers expense. How about you? are you better off now thanks to these men? These are not celebrities, they are not royalty. And what they have done to America should be a crime.

Thank you Toonkinstein, it is so true. We have only gone so far after this war because it has affected our pocket books. What will happen when our freedom is taken because we are worried more about how much money we spend compared to how much we spend on our freedom. The soldiers understand that, too bad we don’t.

Love the pic. Say what you will about Carter, he did create the wonderful Habitat For Humanity, and I’m proud to be a part of that org.
