The comeback queen was reportedly pressured into accepting the arrangement because her tour managers could not purchase insurance cover without it!
According to OK! magazine’s cover story this week, Britney was all set to regain her freedom, and primary custody of her toddlers on December 31, by having the temporary conservatorship overseeing her personal and financial affairs vacated. However, while planning the ‘Circus’ tour, her managers could not purchase insurance cover. In view of Britney’s troubled past, insurance companies were ready to advance the cover only if she remained under her father’s conservatorship.
That being said, Britney reluctantly accepted a permanent conservatorship, aware that it would not allow her to regain primary custody of her children.
A source tells the mag: “Whether it was her decision or whether she was pressured into it, Britney’s deal with the devil put the tour ahead of the kids.”

I only see that she has zero control over her life. She remains the cash cow for her family version 2.0, now with even less personal rights. It is a shame how this young woman is being manipulated and used by her own people.

I agree with MissJanet. Britney burns out and has a melt down and the parents primary concern seem to be getting her back to work. Doesn’t she have enough money? And honestly people, do you think with her mental history she should be the primary caregiver?
I think OK has been the official Spears “voice” for a while. She’s had serious mental/drug problems for YEARS, maybe since her teens, and there’s no way she’ll regain primary custody. This story is a way for her to save face and continue the fairytale that she’s “recovered” as well as drum up sympathy and PR.,

SHE HAD AGREED. Read my lips: she had agreed. The judge asked her and she said yes. Are you saying that the judge is corrupt and in cahoots with the family? Please. Even Tardo herself is not that stupid to believe something like that. There are other people involved - lawyers, social services, the whole system. Are they all forcing her to go to work? When the whole world knows she’s a child abuser and that is why the kids got taken away from her. She doesn’t want to be with the kids. Plus she spoke alone to the commissioner for almost an hour. Noone else was present so if she wanted out, she could have said so.
My kids are the reason I live.. I cannot imagine my “career” ever being more important than my own flesh and blood.
She looks good. Her oldest son looks so much like Kevin and Jayden looks just like her…especially her when she was younger.

So she should not have done the tour, because her manager couldn’t get insurance for the tour, without her daddy staying on the conservatorship. Then she would have been able to get her kids back as of the 31st of December, and then what? She flips out again and loses her kids AGAIN, because she doesn’t have anyone watching over her!!!!
She made the right choice, not only is Kevin giving her all kinds of visitation, she is providing for her kids by continuing to work, good for her!!! She didn’t’ pick her career over her kids, she did what was best for both her kids and herself.
To say somebody doesn’t want their children or is a bad mother is a terrible thing to say. Every time Britney is photographed with her boys, which is fairly often, she is smiling and happy and looks like she just really loves being with them. She has come a long way since last January, and I think everyone needs to realise that just twelve months ago she was looking at never having custody of her children again and her career being over. Give her a break!
