He now says he understands that his marriage to Heidi Montag was fake — but only because he was uninformed.
“I didn’t even know you have to legalize a wedding,†Spencer tells In Touch Weekly of his nonbinding ceremony in Mexico. “I thought growing up, you say ‘I do’ and you’re married.â€
For her part, Heidi backs up her man’s claims. “We had our elopement, and to me, that counts,†she said at Christian Audigier nightclub in Las Vegas on December 31, but she adds that they are now planning to make it official. “We’re going to have a bigger wedding for friends and family.â€
Not surprisingly, it’s going to be a major production. “We’ll definitely have it on TV because of the fans and haters,†vows Spencer.
We’re not sure whether that’s a promise or a threat.

Of course they will have it on TV. I can almost picture the wedding right now…over the top and tacky and Heidi looking like a skank as usual. Spencer just gives me the absolute creeps, how anyone could sleep with him, let alone marry the dickhead, is beyond me. Gross! Heidi looks like a huge idiot for being with someone as disrespectful and rude as him.
So are you telling me the Albino twins didn’t know that they could get tons and tons of free publicity by getting “married” in Mexico, but actually getting off easy because they wouldn’t really be married, which would complicate things for their already planned televised wedding?
