TODAY IN CELEBRITY FEUDS

Jay Leno told the New York Times last month that Howard Stern’s decision to move to satellite radio had been a big mistake. “I don’t hear him quoted anymore,” said the Tonight Show host.

Howard was back on the airwaves yesterday and proclaimed himself even more influential than Leno.

“Leno, with all of his horses**t has five million viewers,” says Stern. “We probably have five to six million. I’m not going to be an a**hole and I’m going to downplay it. So even downplaying it, we beat The Tonight Show.”

This, of course, begs the question: Who is currently more relevant: Jay or Howard?

Jay is a racist homophobe sexist. ALl of his jokes have to do with his dick or demeaning women or making fun of different cultures. Howard is a genius. You cannot even compare these two.

I read much more about Howard than I ever do about Jay Leno. In the last year the only thing I have heard about Jay leno is that he is moving to 10 pm. Never about his opinions or what he does or say. Unlike Howard who has opinions.

    Leno is a certified douchebag.

Howard is a sophomoric jackass who has taken the lowest elements of adolescent boy behavior and made it a career. His “fans” share the same lowbrow (sloped brow) view of the world. I don’t particularly like Leno having never watched a moment of his show, but I detest Howard and his contribution to the decline of civilization.

Howard is so far from being a genius. That is laughable at best. I can’t stand that guy.

The last thing I heard about Stern was about his wedding. He’s not nearly as relevant as he thinks he is.

Howard is just a “media elitist” darling, they love him.
Howard is the epitomy of the decline of an empire
He does not contribute but pollute the air waves with his filth.
I used to hear him for a while to see what the hype was all about…..could not take any more.

The question is really “Who is more IRrelevant?” And the answer is, neither. Because neither could be more irrelevant!

Howard is very relevant. His show is even better on Sirius. I love to listen and if it is not your cup of tea then don’t listen. I personally find his show very funny and love the relationship between him and his fellow cast members. You read about Howard interviewing someone and what they admit to on his show. You never read that about Jay. Howard asks the questions no one lease is willing to ask because they are afraid it will end their career. How can you have Jennifer on and not ask about the rumor going around. Jay sucks, I prefer Letterman to him anyway! I do agree his taste in women is horrible.

Howard is disgusting and so are the people he has on his show. They all smell of sex, drugs, and grossness,
and have an IQ of a 2 year old.And that is being generous!
    Can’t stand him…..never have…never will.
    He is one ugly motherf*****
I do like Leno….Don’t think he is racist.

Howard is still alive and on the air? I outgrew him and his sophomoric attempts at humor years ago.

As someone who doesn’t watch/listen to either of them… I figure I’m among the least biased in pointing out relevancy. So here it is: This is the first time in a long time I’ve heard anything mentioned about Stern… the only other thing I’ve read about him “recently” was that he was getting married, or something like that. I think that was back in August? I’ve seen Leno mentioned in blogs and news outlets regarding his move… i.e., the NYT (”Where’s Leno Going?” Or something like that)… that might have been last month.
    .
Was this post pointless? Yes, it was. But so is this silly “feud”.

Howard is not relevant anymore. He betrayed all of his loyal listeners when he jumped to Sirius/XM. His show is boring and more self serving than ever. It’s all about the money for him…I remember when he was cutting edge and hilarious on WNBC and K-rock. He had a talented crew, the show was up on current events and everyone was talking about him. I will not subscribe and pay for radio. I’ll live with the commercials.

  28. Go Stern
    January-8-2009 @ 9:18 am

1 more thing and then I will stop commenting on this, to Jo-Ann, Freedom is the reason Howard went to Sirius, the money was a huge bonus. His show was all about the FCC and control while he was on FM radio. With Sirius, he is FREE to do whatever he wants. Take breaks when he wants and they are very short breaks. It is very annoying to drive for 20 minuets without hearing a word of the show, which is what happened when he was on FM radio. In the middle of interviewing a guest, he would have to take a break. This never happens on Sirius, they take a break before or after the guest comes in. Sometimes the interview is an hour long! Anyways, this is the last of my 2 cents.
