Gwen Stefani and Co. enjoy a Sweet Escape on Wednesday at the Sydney International Airport en route to Melbourne following a string of sold out concerts in Australia.
The Aussie leg of Gwen’s tour has gone swimmingly, but it appears trouble lurks just around the corner. The Malaysian leg of her tour has been thrown into doubt after a Muslim student mounted a campaign to have the star banned from performing in the country.
Gwen is set to bring her show for the first ever to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur later this month, but the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students allege that ‘4 In The Morning’ songstress dresses indecently and uses obscenity, and therefore should not be allowed to perform.
The group has called for the cancelation of her concert date as well as a boycott of Malaysian mobile phone company Maxis Communications for advertising Gwen’s concerts.
In a world ridden with poverty, fundamentalism and war, it’s nice to see that these folks have their priorities in check.
Cuckoo…cuckoo…..

Gavin looks so stupid with his hair like that.
^He looks like a quasi-fag. The kid is absolutely adorable.
he looks like a Becks Wannabe.
gwen could single-handedly bring back the mc-hammer pants.
HATE THE BLONDE.. Kingston is smashingly FLY as always.. LOL on the mc-hammer pants
you can bet she is the only celebrity in the western world who is wearing those pants right now. haha. i like that she is not afraid to wear whatever. but i really hate those pants. if they come back in style i doubt they’ll be that popular because they weren’t that popular the 1st time around. hated them in the 80s too.
I know she’s not trying to bring the MC Hammer pants back. U Can’t Touch This!
gwen is hottttttttttt. kingston looks like gwen more now….
Oh god people need to get over the fact that all music and performers are different and if they don’t want to hear obscenities or see someone dressing ‘inappropriately’ then they don’t HAVE to listen to the music or go to the concert- nobody is forcing them! I hope Gwen is able to go on tour there because if its cancelled because of that little loser trying to ban her then there will no doubt (excuse the pun) be a lot of fans in Malaysia dissapointed.
