It’s not all work and no play for self-professed workaholic Tyra Banks.
The supermodel/talk show host/TV producer enjoyed a romantic date with her businessman beau John Utendahl at Beso restaurant in West Hollywood last night.
For those of you not in the know, the 50-year-old Columbia grad is the founder and owner of Utendahl Group, the largest African American-owned investment banking organization in the United States.
The two have been dating for nearly a year.
Meanwhile, Tyra’s latest reality show is set to premiere tomorrow night!
True Beauty – the new twist on beauty pageant competitions– will feature six women and four men living together in a Los Angeles mansion under the impression that they are competing in a beauty pageant-like reality competition series in which they will be judged solely on their physical beauty. However, unbeknownst to them, the contestants will also be getting judged on their “inner beauty” and will be put through scenarios that will make them reveal different aspects of their inner character.
The contestants will be judged by legendary model Cheryl Tiegs and former Top Model judge Nole Marin. Each episode will feature the judges monitoring the contestants, critiquing their behaviours, and ultimately eliminating one contestant.
The contestants will only be told the truth about the competition as they watch a montage of their show behaviour after their eliminations. The contestant who shows that they are the most beautiful contestant — on both the inside and out — will be crowned the winner and receive an undisclosed cash prize as well as a spot in People magazine’s 2009 “100 Most Beautiful People” issue.

Tyra is the queen of mass producing superficial reality shows.
Now I never want to see her wearing leggings again. Some thighs need not be seen.
in the first thumbnail, Tyra’s boyfriend looks like a cross between Stedman Graham and Gay Al (a.k.a. Star Jones’ fake ex-huband.) I kid you not.
Tyra is the ugliest of all the supermodels. SHe looks like a sausage in that outfit. SHe has OVER embraced her curves.
And no, I will not be watching her lame ass show.
Tyra has a pair of the ugliest shaped legs I’ve seen in a while. She’s got “curvy” thighs– OK, that’s fine– but then from the knee down her legs are skinny as hell, with no calves. It strikes me as an oxymoron… fleshy/skinny legs. It’s somewhat disconcerting. And let me just add, I really don’t like her.
Tyra has put on weight since her modelling days but I really don’t think it matters anymore seeing as it’s not her body that’s making her money. She’s done extremely well for herself and she’s obviously a smart cookie who knew that she wouldn’t be a tiny little supermodel forever, so she created an empire around herself. I think her face is absolutely gorgeous!! I’m interested in the new reality show, will be tuning in to check it out.

She never was a “Supermodel”. In the early 90s she was a 3rd or 4th tier print/runway model. She had gained too much weight by 1995 to walk (runways). She switched to lingerie and swimsuit modeling. A smart move, she became a very successful “pin-up” model. That and she dated a couple directors who put her in their movies. Kinda slutty.
By the look on her face, she is takin this Mogul thing a tad bit too seriously lol
I agree about her legs being very unattractive. They’re fat on top and skinny below the knee.
