Braving what was a bitterly windy day in New York City, Kate Hudson and a friend were seen leaving the Exhale pilates studio.

After getting their zen on, it was time for a java run as the duo stopped by Starbucks for a coffee before returning home.

Meanwhile, Kate has admitted that she wants to “smack” the paparazzi.

In a new interview with Elle magazine, the private actress claims that the behaviour of snappers has spiralled out of control in recent years, with some photographers even intruding on her four-year-old son Ryder.

“They’ve become an entity to themselves,” she says. “But eventually they’ll implode. They’re creating a house of cards that will inevitably fall. These are not nice people. When you’re taking your child to school, and they’re trying to get on school property to get a picture, it literally makes you want to just smack them.”

This is coming from the same woman who only recently confessed that she is “ruled by sexual energy” and does not believe monogamy is a natural human trait.
