The mother-daughter duo were en route to the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater for a matinee showing of All My Sons.
Meanwhile, with the Golden Globes fast-approaching, it appears that Katie is facing one of the trickiest scheduling conflicts in her career. On January 11, her Broadway play is slated to have its very final performance. At the same time, however, her hubby Tom Cruise is also slated to attend the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, wherein he is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his quick but hilarious turn in the comedy Tropic Thunder.
The choice of whether to stay in the East Coast and end the play’s run with her theater family, or to jet off to the West Coast to support her loving husband, has been dealt her quite bluntly.
Her decision? Ina Treciokas, Katie’s press representative, says that the actress will stick to New York. “Katie’s decided to stay and do her last show. She won’t be going with Tom to the Globes. The cast of All My Sons has been like a family and they want to end it together.â€

I think that’s fair enough to finish her run on Broadway. It’s been a huge deal for her, and she’s put a lot of work into it. It would be a shame for her to miss out on the final performance. Too bad it’s on the same night as the Golden Globes though, it would have been nice to see her dressed up on the red carpet again.
Why the fuck does she drag that kid through paparazzi lines every day. Day after day. You don’t see other celebs kids EVERY day. Can’t Suri stay at home for ONCE and have her mommie come home to HER???????
seeing them everyday is boring - but it’s not their fault and they shouldn’t hide - it’s ours for inadvertantly encouraging paps to take the pics and us for looking at them and making comments on them
Why not finish her run… Tommy is like every other celebrity.. he can walk the carpet without her..!! The attention he gets it would be great to see him there… It is nice that she can spend time on her own project since this is important to her.. There will be other Golden Globes to attend.. As for Suri ..Katie is a full time
mom.. so they must have a play area dressing rooms for mother actors to bring there kids..Like Jen and
Julia Roberts brought their kids too..
