American cyclist/celebrity and seven-time Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong shocked the world days ago by revealing that he and short-term girlfriend, Anna Hansen, are expecting a baby in June!

The 37-year-old testicular cancer survivor, who has three children with his ex-wife, Kristin Richards, made the stunning announcement just days before Christmas.

Armstrong, who was diagnosed in 1996 with testicular cancer that had spread to his brain, lungs and abdomen, underwent treatment for the disease and was able to return to cycling. The harsh treatment left him unable to have children, although he and then wife Kristen were able to produce their three children by using his frozen sperm. However, he and Hansen have miraculously conceived without the use of artificial insemination!

Lance began quietly dating the pretty, blonde Hansen last July shortly after he ended his relationship with Kate Hudson. According to sources, they met through Lance’s connection with First Descents, a Colorado based nonprofit that is affiliated with his Livestrong Foundation while he was training in Aspen.

It was then that he fell in love with the town and purchased a still under construction $9 million plus home large enough to accommodate his ever-expanding family. The five bedroom, five bath and two half-bathroom estate home boasts a lower level with four bedrooms and three and half baths as well as a family room and laundry/utility room. The main level of the house features an expansive living room, dining room, kitchen and a half bathroom. On the third level, are the master bedroom and bath as well as a combination den/study/library. Completing Lance’s new dream home are multiple fireplaces, a hot tub/spa, established landscaping and a patio and deck that provides stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.

Lance’s new home was recently finished and it looks like it couldn’t have happened at a more fortuitous time. As Lance and Anna are celebrating the holidays and the birth of their impending child, they can look forward to bringing their new baby to their brand new home!
