Brought up without a father from the age of 12, Tom — who currently has three children — tells The Sun: “I want ten children. I love kids. I feel really fortunate to have the teenagers and a two and a half-year-old. It’s a great dynamic.”

Tom on how his divorce from Nicole Kidman has not affected his relationship with his adopted children: “Nic and I are very committed and successful in sharing the parenting.”Tom on how his father leaving affected his parenting: “I’m a great parent. I want to be with my kids, and they get to do all the stuff that I wanted to do when I was growing up. My own father wasn’t there much for me and I want to be a different dad to my kids. My family is the most important thing in my life.”
Tom on his third wife Katie Holmes: “Married life is very good, very lovely. I feel lucky to have Kate as my wife. She’s an extraordinary woman. She is funny and smart and she likes the same things that I do. She’s a very strong, gracious woman, and a great comedian. I like doing romantic things, such as bringing flowers and surprising her with things. I love candlelit evenings with nice music.”
Tom on their 16-year age gap: “If I’m worried about anything, it’s if she can keep up with me. I’m very active.”
Tom on the the relatively modest performance of Valkyrie: “I’ve had lots of luck and earned much money during my career. Now I don’t do movies for the money. I pick the projects that I feel like doing, and lots of people earn a lot of money with me.”
Tom on raising 2-year-old Suri under the eye of the paparazzi: “The paparazzi? They are trying at times but it’s rare that it happens. I try not to stay isolated because it’s not good for us and the kids. It’s important for us to get to know new people. I go to the children’s groups like other daddies. At first people look at me like, ‘My God, it’s him!’ and they treat me a little differently. But then they realise I’m just a father with my kids. It’s up to me to make everybody else feel okay about the fact that I’m there, and then everything just goes on.”
Tom on never discussing Scientology beliefs again: “I say, ‘That’s it, no more — go to the Scientology website.’ And he admits that in the past he has come across as being conceited when talking to some journalists. I think I could have handled things better. I came across as arrogant and I didn’t communicate well. “But I do feel good about myself at this point in my life. I live to be the best man I can. I make mistakes just like everybody else — but I’m out there fighting away.”

if they are not important.. as Suri… She is the royality in the family… and they have to stand 2 feet back..
Laurie Smith, what makes you say that? Isabella and Connor have more control about their involvement with the media then Suri, so they are probably just not in the press so much per choice, that is all.

Deej, I was just going to say that. I think he and Katie have one of the best celeb marriages, and he seems less egomanical now than in the past. I think he’s a great dad too, and his kids seem very well adjusted. LAURIE SMITH, you’re intitled to your opinion, but I think your opinion is massively wrong and I can’t imagine what you’ve based your conclusions on.
Have you seen the last photos of Tom with Isebella and Conner.. when Katie and Tom and Suri were walking
two feet ahead and when the older children tried to get close they cut them off… So tell me when you see
pix of them as a loving 5 member family..?
What about the cover of People Magazine.. when Suri was with Tom and Katie and Conner and Isebella
were at the bottom of the cover with just Tom no Katie or Suri… So you tell me..
Laurie Smith, you say that Hollywood Stars who chose not to have their children in the press all the time do not love them? And you say that Tom Cruise is responsible for the way People layouts their covers? Aha.
Suri is a media star, her older siblings are not. What does that say about the private lives of this people? Nothing at all. Remember when Tom and Katie were watching Connor playing soccer all the time? Maybe he didn’t like the attention and some decisions were made.
Non-bio kids are always loved less. It’s a fact. Step-monsters suck and step-kids are in the way. Let’s tell the truth. Too bad the kids are not given the love they deserve. I am sure they get money shoved at them though. Nic-hole and Tom should never have adopted. She’s the ice queen. Poor kids.

Kürzlich wurde noch über das unmögliche Benehmen Tom Cruises gegenüber seinen Adoptivkindern gemeckert. Zu recht! Und schwupp sind diese gestellten Fotos da. Alle sind so glücklick. Ich stelle fest, Tom Cruise lässt sich vom Publikum erziehen. Wenn es den Kindern hilft, kann es nur gut sein. Aber sein Image ist auf 0-Niveau geschrumpft. Da kann er machen was er will. Das Ding hat er verkackt.

Arasto, sweet pea, if he wants 10 children and already has 3, that would be 7 more pregnancies for Katie if they don’t adopt. Not 9. Counting is fun, eh?
Connor looks so much like Tom. I’m convinced that Connor is actually Tom’s bio-kid. His appearance and mannerisms are too similar. I think Tom used a surrogate and then “adopted” him.
Isabella is fat and ugly. That’s why the paparazzi aren’t interested in her pictures. Face it, Suri is going to be gorgeous. That’s why her photos are in high demand. Nicole should take Isabella to see her plastic surgeon. That girl needs to lose 20 lbs and get a new nose. Maybe even some collagen for that upper lip. Nicole is the expert at Botox and Restalyn.
Connor is a good-looking boy but he’s looking a little flabby lately. If he works out, I think he has potential.
If some of you are hinging your accusations on the fact that two teens in adult bodies walking behind their parents in photos that represent a time factor of maybe .0002.5% out of their daily lives, there is nothing anyone can say or do to unscrew that screwiness.

and walked away.. Isebella is not a fat child … It is Katies job since she announced that she is taking care
of them to put her on a diet… and get her to the gym… So that is the first sign of neglect is over eating..

Connor is not fat. He is an athlete and plays soccer. There are lots of photos of Tom and Katie at Connor’s soccer games. Connor is also an actor now. He landed the role of the young Will Smith in the new Seven Pounds movie. I’m sure Tom used his influence and nepotism to open some doors for Connor.
Isabelle, on the other hand, is unfortunately a plump and homely child. I feel the most sorry for her because she will always be compared to Suri and Sunday Rose. Now that Tom and Nicole both have their own biological daughters, Isabelle is just an after-thought.
Poor Tom. I’ll admit he really annoyed the hell out of me with his rants and couch jumping ways, especially since it followed his mysterious divorce with Nicole. Nevertheless, he’s such a genuine talent. “Born on the Fourth of July” has been on HBO recently and Tom gives such a wrenching performance that it’s almost too painful to watch. I feel sad that he’s become everyone’s fave whipping boy.
