Sure, recording a public service announcement is a keen legal move for celebs in trouble looking for a light sentence. But THIS advance look at an anti-drinking PSA from ‘Prison Break’’s Garrison Lane really doesn’t look self-serving at all. It’s actually quite disturbing.
Lane pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI after an accident in December left a 17-year-old passenger dead. He is due to be sentenced on Thursday.
This one is a must-watch!

I didn’t know who he is either, I heard about him when he killed someone.. and I still don’t know who he is or where he came from. Only thing I know about Prison Break is Wentworth, and that’s only from the commercials and stuff…

Ok, a horrible & riveting PSA but the glassy eyed thing makes him look totally stoned rather than totally sorry. And who is going to run a 2 and 1/2 minute PSA???

Some of you don’t seem to be getting the message. How can you say he isn’t sincere? Any human being would be deeply affected by causing another persons death by a stupid decision to drive drunk. I can only imagine the mental torment you would have to live with. I’m not saying I feel sorry for him, but I can feel empathy for him.

nan c: there are people who care not of other’s lives. once the incident is over, it becomes out of sight and mind. he didn’t know the kid personally, and that makes it easier to disconnect himself from the incident. don’t assume “Any human being would be deeply affected by causing another persons death by a stupid decision to drive drunk.” you would be, i would be, but many others just don’t have that capacity. sad.

Dottcomm1: so true and sad. Remember when Rebecca Gayhart also hit & killed someone with her car. Not drunk driving related I don’t think but still. Brandy too, right? Killing someone should shake a person down to the very foundations. Well, you’d think.
