Following last week’s glitzy A-list welcome party for the Beckhams where she stole the show in a red strapless Donna Karan number, a more casual Katie Holmes steps out in a simple white wrap dress after lunching with friends at Cafe Einstein in Berlin on Saturday.
The 28-year-old actress, who is currently in a career hiatus after filming ‘Mad Money’ with Queen Latifah, has joined her hubby Tom Cruise in Germany while he shoots ‘Valkyrie’, a film about the failed plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944.

Don’t care about her, she is dull. And she didn’t steal the show, not even the color RED makes her stand out, her beigeness shines all the way though.

I can’t help thinking this is partly Tom’s influence. I can’t help but remember when he said “She is called Kate. Katie is a little girl’s name and she is a woman”. Or somesuch psychotic diatribe. *shiver*
Even if it isn’t, Katie, please start dressing your age while you are a lamb as, soon enough, you will become like much of Hollywood…mutton.

while there’s nothing “wrong” with what she’s wearing, i wonder what she’ll wear when she’s 38.

wow..anon, that wasn’t very nice. and psl, I hope you do have kids especially a daughter because you would be a good role model for a female and would promote a healthy body image. I’ve been reading your blogs for awhile now and you seem to have your head screwed on right. and yes, I do think Katie could afford to “youthen” up her look a bit. She’s got the mom look down packed, loosen up a bit Kate.

I love Katie! She has really come into her own and settled down into her more grown-up life. She looks amazing and less like a little kid now and I think she is really happy being married to Tom and mothering cute little Suri. I think it took her a while to adjust to everything but she’s definately there now. She’s come a long way from the days of little Joey Potter that’s for sure!
